As the summer months approach, many locals and tourists alike look forward to Bern Switzerland’s annual Summer Music Festival. Held over the course of three weekends, this renowned event is sure to draw in huge crowds from all around Europe. With a wide variety of musical genres showcased – from rock and jazz to folk and techno – there is something for everyone at this festival. The Gurtenfestival is on from the 12th to the 16th of July 2023 is one of Switzerland’s most famous music events.
The event kicks off with an opening night celebration featuring some of Switzerland’s most renowned DJs playing sets until late into the night. On subsequent nights, attendees can enjoy outdoor concerts on some of Bern’s oldest streets, as well as music workshops held by professional musicians who will teach attendees how to play popular songs on instruments such as guitar, bass or drums.
