The highlight of any trip to Kazbegi is the hike to Gergeti Trinity Church, perched at an elevation of 2,170 meters.

Svaneti’s Majestic Peaks

Svaneti, another gem in Georgia, is renowned for its majestic peaks and remote, picturesque villages. One of the most iconic hiking experiences in Svaneti is the multi-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. This trail takes you through lush forests, alpine meadows, and ancient villages, offering a glimpse into the unique culture of the Svan people.

The Mestia to Ushguli trek typically takes 4 days to complete, with each day covering 10-15 kilometers. The trail is well-marked, and there are guesthouses along the way where you can rest and enjoy traditional Georgian hospitality.
