Porto Venere, located in the province of La Spezia, Italy is a stunning coastal town filled with beauty and adventure. Located between the three islands of Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto, Porto Venere has something for everyone. Chiesa di San Pietro was built in the 9th century and is located in the center of the town. The church was damaged by an earthquake in 1857, but today it still remains as one the best examples of Romanesque architecture in the region. Today Porto Venere it is a beautiful tourist hot spot and also close for day trips to 5 Terre.
